As the founder of Pulse Legal Nurse Consulting, Dr. Perry-Eaddy is committed to excellence, clear communication, and results. She is a PhD-prepared nurse with an extensive background in clinical nursing, research, and nursing education.

As a practicing nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for the last 10 years, Dr. Perry-Eaddy provides expert clinical care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with life-threatening conditions. Conditions range from illness, surgical procedures, abuse, and trauma, amongst other conditions. As a researcher, she has expertise and a strong interest in sepsis across the lifespan, including adult populations. Dr. Perry-Eaddy is a nationally recognized expert in sepsis, funded by the NIH and American Association of Critical Care Nurses to conduct research exploring the physical outcomes of children with life-threatening illnesses who survive the PICU, with an emphasis on those with sepsis. She is also an invited advisor board member of the Sepsis Alliance and a Subject Matter Expert in the CDC’s Project Firstline to prevent hospital-acquired infections.

Dr. Perry-Eaddy also has an extensive publication and oral presentation record.  She has authored over 20+ manuscripts, and presented at both national and international interdisciplinary conferences. A full list of published articles can be found here. 

Lastly, as a professor, Dr. Perry-Eaddy educates future healthcare providers, particularly nurses on standards and scope of practice. She has taught courses in pediatric medical-surgical care and nursing fundamentals, which focus on the older adult subacute population.
